Ambassador Vahram Kazhoyan’s Participation in the official opening ceremony of «Vietnam National Brand 2023» forum․

Vahram Kazhoyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, participated on April 20, 2023, in the official opening ceremony of the annual forum entitled "Vietnam National Brand 2023" organized by the Trade Promotion Agency (Viet Trade) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, in his welcoming remarks at the official ceremony of the opening of the forum, highlighted the importance of holding the forum, adding that during 2018-2022 the number of Vietnamese companies participating in the forum has increased with every year. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam noted that 50 Vietnamese companies are participating in the 2023 Forum. In his speech, Mr. Tran also presented the main economic indicators of Vietnam in 2022.

Participating speakers at the forum presented their ideas and proposals to the Vietnamese government on the popularization of the "Vietnam" brand in the world, which in its turn will promote the Vietnamese products and increase tourism.

The speakers underlined the importance of consumer trust and accountability in forming the image of the national brand, as well as the need to use green energy and smart technologies in the production and processing of products. They also highlighted the use of benefits provided by international free trade agreements, particularly the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the European Union-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Acting Minister and Deputy Minister of Health of Vietnam, representatives of ministries and state departments of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, representatives of mass media, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Vietnam, leaders and professors of foreign and Vietnamese universities, as well as other participants attended the official opening ceremony of the "Vietnam National Brand 2023" forum.

Aramazd Muradyan, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia also attended the forum.
